Procedure for Admission
 
1. Inquire
Call Evergreen Academy at 918-923-3433; email us at admissions@evergreen.academy; or inquire through our website at www.evergreen.academy.  Following an inquiry, Dr. Jeff Keeney will contact families to answer any questions.
 
2. Create an Account
To begin the application process, please click the link above to create an application account. From there, you will be instructed to create a login, password, and verify your email via a message to your email account. Once completed, you will receive an email containing a link to start an application for your child. This email make take 3-5 minutes to appear in your inbox.
 
3. Complete an Application & Submit Application Fee
Before starting the application, you must create an account.  See #2 above.
To start an application, click the link in your account creation email or click the link above. You have the flexibility to log in and out of your application account without losing your data, as you can save your progress at any time. There will be a green check mark for each section once you have completed all required fields. Once all required fields of the application are complete, you must select "Review & Submit." You will then be instructed to pay the $100 non-refundable application fee.
 
Age Guidelines: Kindergarten students must be 5 years old and 1st grade students 6 years old by September 1st of the enrolling year. All early childhood applicants must be fully potty trained and able to care for restroom needs independently.
 
4. Application and Document Review
Once your application has been received, your child's application will be reviewed, and the following documents will be collected from your child's previous school(s):
  • Transcript of Grades or Official Report Cards
  • Standardized Test Scores
  • Disciplinary Records
  • Most Recent Grades
  • IEP (If applicant has been tested)
5.  Readiness Screening
Student records will be carefully evaluated during the application process. Parents are responsible to pay for all Readiness Screening. The following readiness screening is required in addition to progress and standardized testing.
  • Kindergarten Applicants: A Kindergarten Readiness Screening is required and is administered individually.
  • 1st - 3rd Grade Applicants: Previous Academic Records such as report cards and standardized test results will be used. Readiness screening may also be administered, if necessary.
  • Homeschool Students: All homeschool students will be given a readiness screening to ensure proper grade level placement.
6. Family Interview
A family interview will be scheduled between the parent(s)/guardian(s), child, and Head of School or designee.  The interview is a time for the family and school to get to know one another. 
 
7.  Deadlines & Admissions Decision
Acceptance or non-acceptance will be communicated to all families via email and phone call. As long as space remains open in each grade level, applicants will be accepted and placed in the appropriate grade.  In the event a grade level is full, all accepted applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
 
8. Complete an Enrollment Packet & Submit Enrollment Fee
To accept Evergreen Academy's offer of admission, you must complete an enrollment packet for your child in Evergreen Academy's Family Portal. In the acceptance email, you will find instructions on creating a Family Portal account, which will give you access to this enrollment packet. As with the application, you have the flexibility to log in and out of your enrollment packet without losing your data, as you can save your progress and come back at any time. There will be a green check mark for each section once you have completed all required fields. Once you have completed the packet, you will click "Review and Submit". You will then be instructed to pay the $150 non-refundable application fee.
 
9.  Payment of Tuition and Fees
Tuition may be paid in full or in monthly installments through FACTS, our tuition payment service. You will be prompted to set up your FACTS tuition payment account and select your payment plan while you are filling out your child's enrollment packet.
 
10.  Needs-Based Tuition Assistance Awards
Application for financial aid is made through FACTS Grant & Aid. Click here to begin an application. Once Evergreen Academy receives all of the information back on each family’s eligibility, families will be notified whether they received financial aid and in what amount.  Please Note: Evergreen Academy provides needs-based tuition assistance to qualifying families based on determined need to students enrolled full-time.  Evergreen Academy utilizes an independent company, FACTS, to determine the needs-based amount that each family will receive. All families applying for tuition assistance are required to promptly apply for the Oklahoma Parent Choice Tax Credit.  EA reserves the right to rescind tuition assistance for any family that does not promptly apply for the Parent Choice Tax Credit. All needs-based tuition assistance will be applied to any remaining account balances after the Oklahoma Parent Choice Tax Credit funds have been applied. Important Note: Evergreen Academy does not award tuition assistance until after an offer of admissions has been made by the school and accepted by the family.
